Peach and Grapefruit Sorbet

This one is my aunt's favourite!

what you’ll need:

- 2 peaches (peeled and sliced)

- 2 grapefruits

- 3 cups of water

- 1 cup of sugar

In a pot, add water, sugar and peaches (medium heat).

Once peaches have before tender (about 10-15min), take off heat and let cool.

Zest 1 grapefruit into a bowl. Squeeze the juice of both grapefruits into the bowl with the zest.

Once peaches and sugar water has cooled, add to a food processor and blend till smooth

Add peaches mixture to grapefruit juice

Assemble your ice cream maker (make sure your freezer bowl has been in the freezer for at least 24hrs)

Pour mixture into the ice cream maker, turn on and let churn for 40 mins

After the 40 mins, if it is not frozen enough for you just put it in the fridge for another 20 min

Scoop into a serving dish and enjoy!

  2. What Ice cream maker do you use to make those deliecious flavors ? I read some reviews about ice cream makers and consider Cuisinart ICE-30 and Cuisinart ICE-21 , Which one is better ?

  3. It looks good and relatively easy to make. You have explained it really well and I believe I can do it myself. Thanks for sharing it with the readers..
