Honeydew Sorbet

The idea for this recipe came from a 15 year old boy who was telling me how much he loved honeydew ice cream! And I thought…that sounds DELICIOUS!!! So here it is!

What you’ll need:

- Half a honeydew (cut into cubes)

- 1.5 cups of water

- 1/3 cup of water

In a pot add water and sugar and heat until the sugar has dissolved.  Set aside to cool.

Add the honeydew cubes into a food processor and once the sugar water has cooled add into the food processor.  Blend until smooth.

Assemble your ice cream machine (make sure your freezer bowl has been in the freezer for least 24 hours)

Pour mixture into the ice cream machine, turn on and let it churn for 40mins

If it is not frozen enough for you, put it in the freezer for 20mins.

Scoop into a serving dish and enjoy!!

  1. Your recipe say's to add sugar but the ingredients say water twice. Can you correct? This looks great
